Award Process

A five-stage process will be followed:

Step 1: Registration and submission of Participation Form
Organisations nominated by eminent personalities and Organisations nominating themselves register immediately and thereafter submit the prescribed Participation Form

Step 2: Preliminary Evaluation and Shortlisting
All filled in Participation Forms containing the Innovation Report will be evaluated by Category wise Sector Specialists alongwith the Process Validator and a shortlist will be prepared.

Step 3: Interactive Session
Shortlisted Organisations may be invited for an interactive session with the concerned Evaluation Committee chaired by a Jury member to clarify aspects that may not have been clearly brought out in the written reports.

Step 4: Final Selection
Based on the above inputs, the Jury will make the final selection.

Step 5: Awards Function
The Businessworld - EMPI Indian Innovation Awards process will culminate in the presentation of Awards at a Ceremony attended by distinguished and eminent luminaries from Government, Corporate, Academia, Research Organisations, NGOs, and International Organisations.
