TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES

"For the Company’s larger Corporate Social Responsibility that helped pioneer Computer based Functional Literacy Computer based Functional Literacy Modules in several Indian languages. These modules provide functional literacy to illiterate adults within a period of 40 hours using IT and computer interfaces customized to specific needs and individual capabilities. This innovative approach has the potential of making a widespread impact on the literacy scene, both nationally and internationally".

"For successful and sustainable implementation of village level cleanliness drive, through the Sant Gadge Baba Swachata Abhiyan. The programme tremendously enhanced community spirit awareness, and desire for cleanliness in the villages of Maharashtea through self-help by villagers and Panchayats, thereby inculcating a cultural change in the nature of a competitive-cum-self-respect spirit, as opposed to relying and wating for subsides from the conventional government suooly systems.
